Dirty South Tight Grip

Dirty South Tight Grip is an acoustic ensemble assembled by like minded musicians, from several different nationally touring groups, who decided one random day to get together and take a unique new project to the road. With rock-reggae influences, as well as indie-folk, and improvisational ‘jammy’ jazz, this eclectic group has inspired the masses with their “get out and do it” philosophy and their “why not” attitude. They have been said to be as creative and artistic, as they are catchy and melodic, and have never failed to make an audience, both, think and dance. This collection of musicians includes members from the world renown southeast reggae-rock-ska band, Groove Stain, the winner of creative loafing’s best Atlanta singer and songwriter, Sara Crawford, Philadelphia reggae rock improvisation master, Jay D Clark, and Decatur Georgia’s greatest up in coming acoustic and Ukulele reggae singer, Beauregard. It is a rare opportunity when these musicians are all free from their regular touring obligations, and getting the chance to see Dirty South Tight Grip is an opportunity you do not want to miss.
